Should I Buy Some AIG Stocks

The dividend is now at 41%, that is if they still pay a dividend this is what it would be.

So, should l buy AIG stocks and cash in on the dividends ?

Or is this stock going to hell and the company bankrupt ?

l sincerly doubt the goverment that dumped billions into this company will let it bankrupt. l also bought it.

AIG lost $5.98 a share. If they lost all that money per share & needed government help twice, do u really think that they will pay out 88 cents per share to people? They need all the cash they can to survive as a company!

That dividend, 100% wo not be paid. If they were paying that, do not u think rich people will pour their money in to get a 40% dividend?

Dividends r seen as safer when the amount does not exceed 75% of the earnings per share.
