Would you quit a job in the middle of orientation if you don't like it

MOST DEFINITELY! If you do not like it in orientation, then chances are you will hate it later. Do not waste their time and money, and open up the space for someone who might like the job.

Quitting without a 2 week notice is always risky. If you really do not like it and you do not need the job then quit.

Yes.
There is no point in training for a job you hate.
But on the flip side, Maybe things get better after orientation?
You decide, i'm not taking the blame for your actions.

Only if l could make a scene. l briefly worked for [COMPANY NAME DELETED PER LEGAL ADVICE] and in the middle of orientation this guy stood up and shouted, ''the hell? this is a pyramid scheme!''
And it was. It really, really was.

Never quit a job unless you have something else lined up allready. Unless the job is so dangerous or immoral you can not stay there a minute longer.

Far better to fire the company early than hang in for six months when you have that gut feeling that you do not like it.

Depends on how bad l need the cash.
There is no law saying that l can not accept a job, and keep looking for one better--as a matter of fact, I've done it a couple times.
But, if l could survive a little longer without the job, l have left at lunch and never came back.

No. l would at least give it a try. While first impressions are important, you cannot base your career on a few minutes or hours of orientation. Orientation is usually a broad overview of the job showing many facets of the position. You probably wo not be involved in all of them. Take the time and give it a try.

l have. It was a 7 eleven job. The pay was good but the person running orientation was a complete grouchy control freak, l made up an excuse and left.

Probably. If you do not like it then what makes you think you will like the job? l would not waste my time filling out paperwork and all of that stuff if l did not like orientation. l normally love orientation and then end up hating the job. lol I've never had the opposite.

NO! l would wait until after the orientation and speak with the manager/director about any concerns l was having. After speaking with that person l would at least let them know l did not feel the job was for me and l would not be back.

Only if l was sure that l would NEVER want to try to get a job there again.
