As a former Sears employee, take my advice and do not join them. Read their FS sometime and see that the company assets in general are declining for the last 5 years. And further look at their advertising dollars have declined also, good sign that they are not willing to spend money now. (but who is).

The holding company put together two entities in the very competitive retail market. Look to see if either Sears or K-Mart are closing up more of their retail outlets. It appears that they will survive although you should look for a similar position with Wal-Mart. That company will definitely survive.

Go for it girl. You're in the right field you will always have a job. It is not so important where you clock in. Save your money, invest wisely.
