l have an interview at Bath and Body Works tomorrow, I am not one hundred percent positive it is a group interview though. Has anyone interviewed with them before? If so, do they interview in groups or not?
And, IF they do interview in groups, what is this like? I've never done a group interview, so l NEED to know what to expect in order to be as prepared as possible. Pleas Help!Thank you for your time.

If this is for a sales clerk position, it wo not be a group interview - maybe the Manager and an Assistant.

l do not know about BBW specifically, but in a retail environment, it seems that these are the most important:
1) that you will commit to learning the product line well so that you can answer customers knowledgeably
2) that you will be a great teammember, helping your coworkers when you can and having a positive attitude
3) that you have great customer service skills
4) that you are dependable and honest

Although l have never interviewed at BBW l have at GAP. About 5 years ago. They did do a group interview of about 10 possible sales people. We sat in a circle and talked about why we hoped to work there. l think they wanted to see how we would interact with others. It was short maybe 45 minutes.

Remember to be positive, enthusiastic from the minute you walk in the store. They will be watching. The economy is tight so do not be a smart alek.

l worked for them & it was a group interview for me. They just want to see who stands out more & they r looking for people who r ''bubbly''. They also make u rub lotion on each other & pretend it was a customer & u watch videos & such. So just make sure u smile the whole time. But beware tho, they hired a bunch of people & told me l was part time, l barely got hours & then l was not even on the schedule for like 2 weeks so l called & asked for my schedule & they told me l was hired seasonal so l did not work there anymore. So l was left jobless.

Just as a heads up, my ''group interview'' at Bath & Body Works was only me & one other applicant. Also, most locations need to more than double their current staff for the holidays, so at this point in the season u r not really competing against the other interviewees for a spot. The questions she asked were pretty typical of an interview. Even though l did not speak up as much during the interview as the other interviewee, we both walked out of there with a job. It was kind of a nice introduction to the store because l already knew one of the other new associates & had someone to do training with.

We did not have to rub lotion on each other or watch videos during the interview.although that is a part of the training.

Bath & Body Works is all about customer service. Be prepared to speak about service u have provided in the past & ur strengths & weaknesses with it. Smile a lot & be very friendly to ur interviewer & the other applicant(s), as this is a huge part of what ur job would be all about.
