im 15 years old and im a freshman and l want a cell phone! but my parents think im too young for a cell phone and wont buy me one or add me to their family plan until l get my license (which l cant till im 16 - a whole year away) but l want one now... the thing is l do not have a job... l do babysit for a family but not on a regular basis! is there anyway for to make $50 a month? (that is how much the monthly plan costs...) advice is greatly appreciated! thank you!

Babysitting is probably the best gig for u right now. If u need more babysitting opportunities, just post ur name on some local groceries store bulletin boards. My daughter is 15 & that how she pays for her phone.

Also, maybe u could talk ur parents into doing a no contract phone, something like a TRACPHONE. There is no risk really.

But l like that you're not spoiled & made to wait for somethings. l know it is hard on you, but think of how much u will appreciate it when u get it.

go online apply at taco bell, mcdonalds, wendy, clothing stores and grocery stores gather applications and apply to all those places wait for a call.
