thoroughly? If not l suggest you do so I've just discovered card fraud on my account and have reported it. My bank is endeavouring to claim the amount back for me.


l had this happen on my Visa card two years ago when l ordered flowers for a funeral online. l do not use online shopping anymore but this recent fraud must have been in the supermarket. So much for a secure PIN number.

Go on check your statements again!
Kaznaid l think your right but really you ought to check.

l do not but l know l really should. My husband tends to check the bank statements every couple of months but my card statements just sit around unopened.

l know it is not right and someone could be scamming off my cards, but perhaps the inner me is scared to see what l have been spending!!

l check my bank details every day on internet banking
to see that nothing is going wrong plus l get monthly
statement through the post.
Far better having internet banking, every one with
an ordinary account,savings or current account can
do this by asking for it at your local bank.
Better safe than sorry.

l agree with the second poster. l do not check paper statements, but l do check my online banking center everyday. l make sure l know exactly what each charge is for. l know what l spent, so l am not afraid to see the amount either ;)

My personal belief is that generally, as long as you shop at a reputable, encrypted-technology site, online shopping is safer than going to a real-time store in most cases.
