l can not afford going to even 1 year of college with only 25 k, and It is hopeless searching for scholarships.

What kind of business would be good going into with only 25k?

l need something l can start that will raise me money for college, if that makes sense?
BTW, check my other question, and you will see why l wrote this. My hs counselor is a fucking whore.
l think l should also mention, that the reason for this question is that l can not afford going to the any culinary school, because all of them cost like 300 k a frickin year. l hate the world.

YOu r thinking shallow. 85% of new business fail! Hopeless searching for scholarships? Obviously u have not even looked. Did u check with ur highschool? Did u check with the university that u thought u would like to attend? There r always some scholarship dollars, even for ''C'' students. $25k will get u thru two years of Jr. college easy. Even if u have to rent a cheap apt. You r just too anxious to get to the $25k. You could not pick a worse time to open a business as we go into recession. Business r closing, even when established, & u do not even have the will to know what u would open. Sorry, u need a lot of growing up to do. Take the money, go to Jr. college, & u will find ur way. By that time, it may be ur own business..

Do not invest it in that. Put it into a interest safe bond.. something like that.. draw interest and do not forget the college part. You may need it again!!! l went to college and l am in college again, be smart and use it wise!

Since u mention culinary school l assume u want to open a restaurant.

Since u say u can not afford school l suggest that u get a job in the kitchen of a restaurant. If u r observant u will get more out of two years working in a kitchen than u will by going to culinary school for two years.

When u r not working in the restaurant go to the local community college & take whatever courses r in their business administration curriculum -- preferably the accounting major curriculum.

Near the end of the two years contact the culinary schools u r interested in & ask about scholarships. l suspect that u will be able to pick up one that will pay all or a substantial part of the room, board & tuition.

One other suggestion. Work on developing a positive attitude.
