Pay in full= no interest= think of it as a debit card in reverse....instead of all my charges coming out of my checking, l just pay my CC bill on-line once a month get everything taken out at once...and get 100s of dollars in cash back unlike a debit card which l get nothing!!!

Peoples brains work differently.
The concept that you can pay a cc in full does not compute in their brains.
l read a paper on it. It is just the way people think differently about money.

l have used credit cards as you do for 45 years with never a problem, but l do have self-discipline and never charge something if l do not know where the money is coming from to pay the bill.

Your method works just fine for you. It is a ''live and let live'' situation. Find another topic of conversation as this one hits a raw nerve with them.

If you can pay off the cards on time there is no problem doing it your way - not only are you gaining incentives, but you're establishing good credit.

Some people, especially older ones, tend to hold a negative few of credit cards. They view it as spending money you do not have, and the fact that you pay in full means nothing to them.

Just keep doing what you are doing. You're building excellent credit and getting free money.

Maybe because their jealous that they are not as responsible as you are, with your finances, keep doing what your doing, cuz your doing it right! YOU GO!
