depends what your avdertising?? l worked for a home improvements company, and there, only about 1 or 2 leads were made from 100 leaflets!!

One or two is the best you can hope for with a generalist leaflet. If it is very closely targeted to your market, you could hope to increase it, maybe up to 7.

Any leaflet has to be very focused on your target market and have a clear call to action, that is, show clearly what you want people to do next.

General leaflet mailshots work well, but u will need more than 100!

In a 4 hour stint u could post about 300 & the 'just posting them' ratio is between 1% to 7%. The results r better if u target potential customers.

Leaflets work really well if u hand deliver them. l used to knock on doors & give them to people instead of just posting them.
Tell people what u r doing, say u have just done a job down the road & ask if they need any work doing? At least they have seen what kind of person u r & will keep the leaflet & use u in the future.

l used to go round housing estates on a Sunday between 11am & 3pm door knocking/leafleting for my own business. My ratios were fantastic. 1 in 4 people l 'spoke' to ended up either asking me to quote or passed me on to a friend who needed my service.

Use the leaflets as a soft excuse to knock & tell people what u do. You will be surprised at the response it will generate. Good luck.
