So I've been looking for a job for two months, hoping to find a job related to my field.When October rolled around, l have only gotten one interview. Then l applied for clerical work.l had recently interviewed very well with an employer who needs a clerical temp for half a year and there is a very good chance I will get the job.However, a few days ago, l got a call to interview for a position that was related to my field and it would be a year-round full-time job.I am not the best interviewee out there so l do not know if I will get it, but l will try my best.But that job is something that will most likely do 2nd interviews and might take over 3-4 weeks for the interview process to pan out, while the clerical work needs a temp by the start of the second week of Nov.When the time comes to choose, should l go with what l might have for sure or risk everything to chase a dream job that l might not get?Had anyone been in that situation?

l this situation l wud.rather.be with job which l already have one.n on the same hand l will try n give the interview.for the other job too.n if l clear it.then ill.leave.the old job..

or else l wud.rather wait for my dream job if l am financially sound.

l would honestly take the temp job & keep interviewing for the job that u really want. You do not want to blow off that other option quite yet, since you've been looking for a while - but still should not give up on the job that u really want.

Even if u get that 2nd job, there should still be time to tell the 1st employer that something more closely related to ur field has come up, & thank him/her for the opportunity, but just let them know that u cannot pass that up.
