A quirky house like a converted church or a castle or a modern flat? Which would you prefer?

Quirky house, flats can be so boring whereas a conversion can have character.

some church conversions are awful, some modern flats are excellent. it really depends on each individual property.

would love a proper industrial/warehouse type space.

But if l had to choose one or t'other,
I'd take the church built by my brother
But then a castle sounds so spectacular
It'd be just smashin, as in the vernacular!
Not for me a modern flat
No charm at all, I'd not like that.
