How do americans deal with this financial crisis, how does it effect them in their everyday life, is it really a crisis or just a big ly?

It only effects certain kinds of people. Others, like me, are not effect. [Im a college student]

For example,

The employees who worked at the financial institutions that failed who are now jobless.
The retired Americans who live off their savings and saw their 401(k)s and retirement accounts drop 30% in value.
The owners of companies who sell luxury items and have seen a downturn in their sales.

It could be devastating if you were about to retire or send a kid to college or needed a car or if you were living pay check to pay check and suddenly you needed a loan to buy a washing machine or a new roof.

Or if you were a military person who has to sell your house because you got transfered across country for no reason other than it is been 4 years since you last moved.

This affects Joe 6-pack like a kick in the head if he needs to make a financial move.

Unfortunately the American economy runs on credit. Today credit is very hard to get for items like cars, appliances or any big ticket item. The financial crisis is also hitting the credit card market with people finding that previous credit limits on cards have been reduced. This slows buying resulting in layoffs in almost every industry. This results in people not being able to pay bills or payments on credit which impacts the financial markets even more.

It is real & it is being felt around the world.

Dealing with it takes time & everyone has a different approach, so there really is no easy answer to that question.
