l do not think so. Only the primary cardholder will be affected by your responsible or irresponsible use of his/her credit card account. And l do not think you're a co-signer; you're just an authorized user of his/her credit card account. l think co-signers are just for loans and mortgages.

The only way it could show up on your credit report is if you gave your social security number to have access and be an authorized user. They could not report good or bad use of the credit on an authorized users report if they do not have the ssn.

A person allowed to charge goods & services on a credit card by the primary user of that card. Authorized users -- unlike users of a joint account -- r not legally responsible for payment & the account does show on ur credit report. So if they have a good record so do you, if they default, it shows on ur credit report.
This is a common practice that the CRA is have discovered being used for people with bad credit. They pay a fee (to some shady operation) & r added as an AU but do not get any cards or account numbers. This builds their credit report.
