ok so hubby need his last 2 yrs of tax returns and well he lost them while moving and his last boss/owner.. where he worked moved away and we have no idea where to find him at....

so what can we do???? or is he screwed?? HELP... thanks

You can get them from the IRS. Copies will cost you $39 each, but you can get a transcript for free, and it will be enough for most purposes. Same info, different format, computer generated.

go to the IRS website IRS.gov and request transcripts for those 2 yrs. It will take about a week to get them.

Visit IRS website irs.gov & download Form 4506 the cost of the tax return is $39.00 & the price is going up to $52.00 in Nov,
Or u can get a transcript of account for FREE by downloading Form 4506-T the transcript is line by line information reported on the tax return & accepted by the IRS, if u want the w2 also u can request them on the Form 4506-T & IRS will send ''wage information transcript.
Or he can go to his local IRS office in ur city to request the the transcript & wage information & will be provided while he waits.
