The afternoon l got home, the dress did not seem to fit right. l guess l was so excited in the store that l bought a dress that did not fit. l purchased it with my debit card. if you have the receipt - you should get 1 or the other. actually, l do not know why you think they would not give your your money back (either on the card or in cash). they can not refuse. unless it said 'all sales final' somewhere when you bought it.

Most places will give u money for returned items. Whether they will give u cash or credit the card u used to purchased the item depends on their policies & how long ago u made the transaction. Usually, 10 days is what some stores use because that is plenty of time for the funds to have cleared from the original purchase. They do this because if they did not people would '' buy'' stuff with their cards, return it the next day & pocket the cash even if they do not have enough in the account to pay for the item. It also helps protect when someone tries to use a stolen card to pay for stuff & return it for cash.
