It may just be a nervous habit, but it looks like he is rubbing it or scratching an itch. This is a small business- 5 people total, and l share an office with him. Every time l glance over, he is doing it again; l do not even have to glance, l can see it in my peripheral and it totally grosses me out.

l really need this job- I've been looking for another, but can not afford to quit without a Plan B. In the mean time...

l mean sometimes there is an itch and you must scratch it, but damn he might have herpes, so please please do not sleep with your boss.

Unfortunately, you're probably just going to have to ignore it. If possible, see if you can switch your office. Or try just rearranging your desk so that your back is to him and you do not see it.

Maybe there is a male in the office that notices it too and would comfortable talking to the guy about it? He might not even be aware he is doing it. If he comes into contact with customers in his job - eeeww!

Haha, l feel ur pain, but it is kind of funny. l do not know what kind of relationship u have with this person. If l were in ur place, I'd kind of make a joke about it, to take some of the tension away. I'd say something like ''Hey, l know if u got an itch u have to scratch, but seriously though, l am right here & maybe u can take it over there.''

But l emphasize, it all depends what kind of relationship u have with this boss. Do bring it up though, unless u want to give him the impression that u r ok with it, in which case, it will never stop.

get a couple of the other employees so that you are not singled out and have a very private conversation with him and tell him how much you like working for him, but that this habit is embarrassing all the females working there.

Ignore it as best as u can.

If u r really brave, u can leave some Gold Bond Powder on his desk. Or maybe some Benadryl..

l think it would be way too sensitive a subject to bring up.

If u can stand it, just hang in there until u find another job. l can relate in a way, because l had a boss once who had horrible body odor. One of the other bosses was chosen to tell him, but he never got up the nerve. It was really ashame because the odor permeated the office. It is just so hard to have the nerve to say anything!

l would ask ''Are you ok?' When he asks what you mean tell him well l wondered if maybe you were exposed to any poison ivy recently? You keep scratching.

Ask him if he needs help scratching. Great way to get a promotion dear. lol!!
