So there is this guy that l work with.Every day when he comes in l greet him and he stops and talks with me for at least anywhere from 2-10 minutes each day.

I am wondering if he is just being polite or if he might like me? Because no one else talks to me as much as he does.

l honestly can not tell.

l know he is divorced (l think for half a year) and he is been with the company like 5 years.l just started about a month ago.

He is never asked me out to lunch or has given me any compliments or anything.It is usually about the weather or something he is ordered or about the company.So, I am thinking maybe he is just a real nice guy.

l think u should be careful. Its possible he likes u but its also possible he is just being friendly & if u overstep the mark u will feel silly. If he only talks about the weather & job related things i'd say more likely he is just being polite. so be careful. wait & see & let him do all the running. u could try casually flirting with him a tiny bit & touch his arm & see how he reacts but do not overdo it & if u do not get a response back off - flirting in the workplace can get really awkward .

maybe he wants to get to know you a little bit more to eventually ask you on a date

If you like him, ask him out for a coffee or drink after work. You will find out in a hurry if he is looking for more than a chat. If he refuses, no big deal, at least you know where you stand.
